For anyone wondering if this will work for DC44 (not listed), YES it does. Dyson really missed the mark. You could put your name on it and we'd all pay hundreds for it. I recently got a DC11 mine with its own stand (sold for $100 on their website) so I wanted to put this old DC44 in the laundry room. The problem with this idea was that the laundry room is in the basement and drilling the wall was not an option. This stand really is one of those "why didn't I think of that" items. Mine arrived with extra tools and screws. Very easy to assemble. I am so happy with this purchase.
