I use this as my main case fan for my PC. I was pretty short on extra parts when I built it, but I have 64GB of RAM, an m.2 SSD, a small collection of hard drives, a Ryzen 5 3600 and a 950 TI. The air conditioning in my house is also not the best, so the temperature in my room often exceeds 28°C (82°F). Needless to say, my computer was constantly thermally throttled as the two pathetic fans that came with it were sucking. I didn't want to go down the more expensive and complicated route of getting a new case and possibly new CPU and GPU coolers. I installed these as pullers and kept my two old fans as pushers. Now when I start my computer it sounds like a jet engine about to take off. Once fan control kicks in, it gets a lot quieter on all but the hottest of days, but never expect this thing to be quiet. However, this completely solved my temperature issues. CPU and GPU literally get 30-40°C (85-105°F) cool under load. If you're on a budget then you absolutely need something cool and noise isn't your top priority, this is perfect.
