Review on LG 27MD5KL B Ultrafine Monitor: 🖥️ Thunderbolt, 5120X2880P, 60Hz, ‎27-inch - Perfect Compatibility by William Rogers

I was looking for an external monitor for my 16" MacBook Pro to work from home. I bought a 4k monitor (Dell Ultrasharp) because at first I thought that would do. I have it just returned and bought an LG UltraFine 5k. Super glad I did. It's not just the quality of the pixels. It's also much brighter, less glare (a big deal) and has a high contrast ratio. It was rated for its... Poor build quality criticized but it doesn't matter when the display looks this good LG also works much better with my MacBook Pro than other third party monitors (which is to be expected since it's an Apple approved product): its Brightness can be controlled from the Mac keyboard, it charges my Mac correctly (Dell failed to do this, which was triggering my always-on Mac fan) and changes color temperature in night mode.The webcam is a nice one r bonus. I wish I had bought this sooner.
