I bought these mugs to use as wine glasses during the museum opening. I found them not only beautiful, but also functional. Although I wish they were made of harder plastic. Though no one broke glasses while drinking; The glasses lay slightly bent in his hands. That being said, we got a lot of compliments on how good looking they were. The gold wasn't peeling and the bezels weren't sharp as some other reviews claimed. They were well packaged and I couldn't find any breaks or leaks. I would buy them again.
