I love black lids much more than any other colored one. I don't know why they aren't on the Pyrex website at all. Glad to have found her here. I have found that the lids start to break after about 5-6 years. I use mine in the freezer and fridge but never in the microwave, but lately all my lids have snapped off the edges one by one when opening the containers. Poorly. The only problem is how expensive the lids are, especially when they all go bad at the same time. The only consolation is that I replaced them all with cool black lids that won't leave food stains and look amazing in my kitchen. Hopefully by the time they need a replacement again Pyrex will offer a replacement cap that won't be as expensive!
