Excellent results. The rubber tip works great when placed on a countertop and is easy to sharpen my knives.

Excellent ceramic rod. The length is long enough to easily sharpen my 10 inch kitchen knives and get them sharp again with just a few pulls. I like the rubber tip on the bottom so I can lay it flat on my countertop and easily cut through. I've used ceramic sticks for years, but this one is by far the easiest. The stalk is very smooth, it is not a rough stalk. I start by looking at the sharp edge of my blade to see if I see a reflection that indicates the sharp edge has been slightly bent. When I see this reflection, a few pulls on this rod and everything is fine again. I absolutely recommend this rod!
