Nothing special. Arrived used. But the blades were still in perfect condition. Pretty good for smoothing, shaping and curves. However, this is not an improvement over my Wiss scissors; and they're no better than my BenchtopPro metal shears. In fact, BenchtopPro cuts the straightest and easiest of the three brands, the cheap private label. And all I really want are straight cuts. Great leverage. But if the main task is to use leverage and you need to make a lot of long cuts, switch tools. Use an angle grinder with a cutting disc instead. In many cases, a corded angle grinder delivers better cuts than a cordless angle grinder because it has more power. So if you've been relying on a cordless sander, take another look at the cordless sander. If you're still unsatisfied with the straightness and evenness of your cuts, try a Zip saw with a side rotary attachment or a Dremel SawMax. They are available with metal cutting discs and give you a table like skilsaw to prevent the work piece from wobbling on contact with the disc. Don't let these metal snips be your last resort for straight, clean cuts.
