This leash is great for my pup as I can easily buckle it in the car after a walk. Note that leash training is difficult with this length of leash as you cannot comfortably hold/adjust it at a shorter length like you would with a regular leash. This is great for walks in the woods to give you a little more room to explore. Our pup chewed on a leash every week until we got this. If I need to shorten it, for example when I'm walking with other people who don't want a strong metal leash to tie their laundry, I attach both ends to the collar and attach the handle to the middle of the leash to cut the length in half.
