My wrist often rested on the edge of the table, especially when gaming, so I decided to get a better mouse pad with a support. This mouse pad has a sticky but non-stick surface that sticks to the table to keep it from moving. Of course the table has to be clean and not as shabby as my old one, but so far it's worked great. I usually wear XL gloves to give you an idea of the size of the mouse pad. I wanted this design, or at least something longer, as a regular mouse always feels too short for vertical movement. Both in gaming and in video and photo editing that I do for a living, it definitely helped me with comfort. Maybe this will prevent carpal tunnel or similar long-term injuries. Very soft gel and I had no discomfort after putting my wrist on it for hours. It's definitely worth the price!
