If you are reading this review you may be wondering how/why this item is so great! Treat me with TMI here, but that's real talk - I had a foot injury that caused my heels to crack and peel and the dead skin cycle was just driving me crazy, and I couldn't wear sandals for over a year wear, I was so embarrassed at the way my legs look. I couldn't use really sharp files and graters because that made the problem worse and electronic files were useless. I've washed my feet with petroleum jelly and every other product I can think of. The pedicure was temporary. the dead skin came back so quickly and no I don't have diabetic feet. Once I started using the Nano Foot Scrub it really helped remove dead skin without irritating my feet or making the flaking worse. So the first file/scrubber I used was metal and the inside of the space between the file and the handle became uncomfortable and smelly. So I decided to try one of these little files. I was seriously skeptical that it was glass. But if you are careful, use it while sitting and relaxing in the bathtub or dip your feet in a bucket of hot water, you don't have to worry about it falling off. In fact, it's pretty durable, but it can still break. It gently removes the skin, fairly quickly, but gently, so it doesn't remove massive uneven streaks. I've actually used it to file down areas where the skin was uneven and in danger of peeling again, and this file allowed me to smooth any edges and high burrs off the peeling parts. In just a few weeks, I really got smooth, pink skin on my feet again and completely got rid of the unsightly cracked white dry skin. I also use this product gently around the tips of my toes to remove dead skin and it is just amazing. The smaller file is ideal for toes. Highly recommended. It's a little tricky if you're having trouble holding things, but with a little practice I was able to get the hang of it. They are also made with handles. This is just one of the best kits I've found as you can keep it clean just by rinsing. Dead skin has nowhere to accumulate and build up. 5 Stars!
