This fire blanket adds an extra layer of safety to our camping trips and kitchen. We will mostly keep it in the kitchen next to our small fire extinguisher, but will also take it with us on camping trips in an emergency. The compact bag with cover is closed on a flypaper. There are 2 long straps attached to the duvet that hang on the pocket to make it easier to pull out the duvet. The blanket slides smoothly and quickly out of the pocket. 100% fiberglass looks thick and good quality. Although luckily I haven't needed this product yet, I believe the manufacturer has created a product that will protect my family in the event of a fire. The product has simple instructions: cover the flame with a blanket to isolate the heat or, if it's a person, nail the victim to the ground and wrap them in the blanket. This blanket is an extra layer of peace of mind.
