My big problem is that there was very little space on my desk for things like keyboard and mouse. This armrest allowed me to remove the armrest that came with my keyboard and use it instead, and I had plenty of desk space. The build quality of this armrest is really fantastic. The padding is quite firm, so I don't expect any dents on the palms of my hands, at least in the foreseeable future. The bottom brackets are all metal and don't flex at all. It is attached to the armrest base with 2 screws, so it is very durable. The screws used to attach it to the table are also quite strong. Everything seems solid and well made here. Simply a great quality product.
