You can use 3% hydrogen peroxide as a developer, it works great. This dye works great. The reason for the 3 stars is that rather than a natural 'brown' it is definitely leaning more towards some kind of soft, natural 'black'. It's a little confusing because the prepared color mix is brown in my small mixing bowl, but I left it on for 3 minutes (careful) and now my brows are a soft black. 🤷‍♀️ It's not the worst look, not what I was aiming for and a bit weird with my red hair, but that doesn't mean I can't go to work on Monday.
