Review on 🧵 Pearl Double Black Wide Broadcloth Sewing Fabric by Lori Aguirre

As someone who has been sewing (sewing suits for custom slipcovers) for over 50 years, this tape is of very poor quality. First, a double-folded ribbon requires both raw edges to be folded over to meet in the middle. This band is bent less than 1/4 inch and therefore does not hit in the middle. Second, the ribbon should be folded again so that the 2 previously folded sides meet. In this tape, the two sides just don't meet. This means you have to use a very large zigzag stitch to attach both sides of the ribbon. Third, good tape has very precise folds, making it easy to place. The folds on this tape are pressed very carelessly, making it difficult to attach the tape to the seam and the pre-creased sides tend to unravel. I do not recommend this tape to anyone.
