Review on Edimax WAP1200 - Pro AC1200 Dual-Band Wall-Mount PoE Business Access Point with High Speed 802.11AC Dual-Band by Meech Elliott

I got one of these and the signal strength was terrible even from a few feet away. I sent the device back with a small problem. I've been working on a replacement for a few months and it's just as bad. Unfortunately, the first return from Revain timed out while I was troubleshooting to ensure the issue was not on our end. The signal keeps dropping out. It doesn't matter if you use 2.4GHz or 5GHz. They drop out together. I dried all the different channels, nothing matters. Unfortunately I spent my budget on this unit and actually went back to the faulty unit which I replaced because it performs better than what was supposed to be new and 'capable'. I do NOT recommend this product. Get something that costs a little more and is more reputable.
