That's not it. I'm glad I didn't rush to open them. One of the first reviews shows the picture of the label on the kit received. I bought these because although I measured my bed just under 16", the sheets I bought to fit 16"+ actually do NOT fit (fitted sheets). The label on my queen bedding says "14" pockets fit a 17" mattress. Sorry? Sounds like an overstretch to me (pun intended). They're soft and reasonably priced, but for the REALLY deep pockets I'm glad I ordered the SouthShore brand set I can review them separately but they have very deep pockets They seem to be very nice comfortable sheets and I really wanted to order a set for the suggested pattern. So if you have a 15" bed they might fit you. But apparently my bed needs at least a 17" and I won't open them to try and fit a 14" bag on my 17" (? ) to make thick. Mattress and topper Thanks, not necessary As I said SouthShore will fit (and if you have a 15 inch mattress you will probably have an excess although I don't want to speculate too much). But now I'm back to square one because I can find sheets that are deep enough and prefer a choice of colors or better yet a mix of white and gray like I found here. Just a warning about the depth. I didn't do anything but touch them, but they were very soft. And I liked the pattern. :( But it fits. It's a mess.
