I was very surprised. I got a new Trek mountain bike a few weeks ago and although I ride regularly, the new bike seat hurt. I thought about replacing the seat in general but couldn't decide what I would like. I decided to check the seat measurements on my spin bike seat, which has never given me any problems. I realized that the new seat simply needed more padding. So I thought I'd try. I now take it for two rides of an hour or more and the pain I felt on the first ride is gone. I must emphasize that the pain is more felt in the sit bones. It offers enough cushioning so I don't feel pinched. I think my only complaint is that the price has come down five bucks since I bought it, but it's still a lot better than buying a brand new seat, and if that's the worst I can say about it...
