It warms where it's supposed to, but stays cool where it's supposed to. It feels good and the fit and finish is great. Before leaving negative feedback, please learn how to solder first! • Don't use too much or too little heat unless you know it. !• Protect your tips by cleaning and tinning the tips properly! • Soldering irons are HOT so don't do it unless you are sure! Or at least practice on something you don't care about first, and only after you've learned it! Soldering can be fun and save you a lot of money when you repair and build projects yourself.
