Review on DEEPCOOL Captain 240X RGB AIO CPU Liquid Cooler: Anti-Leak Tech, U-Shape Pipe, Cable Controller, RGB Header Control, 3-Year Warranty by Brad Fleming

Conclusion: The thing cools very effectively. My office is typically warm and exposed to direct sunlight throughout the day. This cooler maintains a temperature of 55°C in peak mode and 26°C in standby mode. Pros: The fans, controller, and even the LEDs are high quality, easy to use, and everything is as quiet as I expected. The water block mount was easier to install than I expected. I was able to receive this 24 hours after ordering during COVID when everything else was delayed. Losses: The heatsink screw holes were not properly tapped, and the mounting screws do not slip, require force, and in some cases were crooked. It was very frustrating. The CPU unit hoses come out and only rotate clockwise. My final AOI was top mounted, with hoses running down the right side of the CPU as you look inside the case, and I had a single fan heatsink for my GPU on the back left. This new CPU block ensures that the hoses go straight to where the single fan heatsink is located. This forced me to redesign my GPU cooler and modify the case a bit to fit in the front of the case so it doesn't get in the way of this new DeepCool AOI. Overall still good value for money. I hope that the next generation will fix the heatsink holes and offer a clockwise and counterclockwise hose angle on the CPU block.
