Looks good, exactly the same design and features of another brand I bought but 75% cheaper. I was looking for a 38T for gravel paving and it fit the bill. for your information. it is an asymmetric version of 96 BCD (XT-8000). Everything was set up and installed in 10 minutes. It's a flat, solid aluminum piece with no mounting hole protrusions or screw head recesses. I removed the Snaggletooth 36T which had an offset to bring it closer to the frame. But it worked for me since I didn't have to add a spacer to the bottom bracket. The next day my wife got it out and we rode 25 miles. No questions. We'll see how it holds up over the long term, but since all the new chainrings are aluminum I don't think they'll last more than a few thousand miles. Fortunately, we rarely see large rear cogs on this setup, so wear on the chain teeth under torque should be minimal.
