I've wanted a field monitor for a long time, but the price puts me off. After reading the reviews and having good experiences with Neweer devices, I gave it a try - and I'm very glad I did! This is a very good monitor with some amazing extras. I use it on my Nikon D750 with Zhiyun Crane 2 with eachshot double grip. Each shot has threaded ends that connect perfectly with the included "magic hand" so I didn't have to use the included clamp. I didn't use the hot shoe mount that came with it, but it seems to be of good quality and if I'm working on a stationary tripod I'll probably use it. I started with the included HDMI cable, which worked well and was quite powerful, but it was uncomfortably long and balanced the gimbal, so I went with a short, twisted pair HDMI cable for about $10, which works much better. I'll also probably add a counterweight to the handle to balance the weight of the monitor. Thank you for the included sun visor which works great even in direct sunlight. The screen is sharp, clear, bright and easy to read in the sunlight, and as a bonus, I can swap out the batteries for other Neweer gadgets like the LED video lighting system. I have yet to thoroughly test the rig on a paid shoot, but I'm very happy with my limited initial testing. If you need a field monitor, no problem - 1/4 the price of a comparable unit from a photo vendor. Happy shooting!
