So I read the reviews in front of me and for fear of the Chinese sizing I went up one size. My friend usually wears a 36 or 38 (38 is usually a bit baggy for him). I ordered 40. They arrived, he tried them on and they were a bit big. It looked good, but he said he felt someone could still "put pants" on him (he wore a belt to make sure they didn't go anywhere). so we ordered 38 and they fit well. The legs are elastic and somewhat baggy, like a boot. The zip pockets fit his 6 inch phone. Hopefully they will stand up to everyday life. They don't feel cheap and flimsy like others have claimed. They are made of polyester and feel like polyester. He said they feel light and a little fresh. And they dry quickly.
