This sandpaper is excellent for all wet sanding applications as well as most dry sanding applications. The paper and glue hold up well to getting wet with water or oil and the grit cuts just as you would expect. This paper is not a good choice for various types of dry sanding: when used to sand sticky softwood or paint or varnish, it clogs up fairly quickly (sterilized sandpaper works better for this). When the paper has to be flexed to follow tight curves, it tends to rip and tear more than regular sandpaper.
