Yes, it has worked long enough. I have a feeling that maybe a thicker strap was needed for my upright Cyclone Dirt Devil model. The one I got here was a style 4 or 5 and it was narrower than what was originally. The one I received in the mail was half an inch thick. A mine was originally 3/4 inch. But overall I'm giving this high rating because I got two belts but I have yet to undo them, maybe the belt didn't snap but slipped out of the middle of the engine so I'm really not sure if it snapped or not Not. Always contact the seller to check the thickness of the belt so you get the right one for your vacuum because I didn't.
