These were my most comfortable wired headphones of the few I've used over the years. While these aren't top-notch gaming headsets for the money, they are very good. The spring on the earcups isn't too tight to cause discomfort after long listening sessions. The built-in volume control comes in handy very often, especially when you get videos where the commercial volume is so loud that the sudden volume change makes you blow in your ears. I use them for both gaming and virtual meetings. I had no problems with background noise during meetings, despite sitting next to a noisy aquarium that generated white noise. I've seen a number of these reviews complaining about the lack of a mute function, but as far as I remember the instructions say the pivoting mic is a mute function. Function. To mute the sound, rotate the microphone to the saved position so it doesn't interfere. I can confirm that my meeting participants cannot hear me in this position as I often forget to pull it down. If you need a longer cable or a replacement, it detaches from the headphones via a standard 3.5mm jack.
