I'm an experienced runner and overpronator and need a shoe for motion control and stability. I've been a Mizuno fan for almost 20 years, but I found the Horizon shoes extremely uncomfortable. Unlike Paradox or Alchemy, I endured excruciating pain on the outer edges/areas of both feet with Horizon. This has happened to Mizuno standard insoles, Sole Dean Karnaze orthotic insoles and Vionic Active orthotic insoles within a few weeks. The pain felt like a hot knife cutting through the outer edges of the feet. I would not recommend these shoes and would caution potential buyers against trying them on first.
