As a system builder, I admit that I'm pretty picky when it comes to the quality and performance of the PC components I buy. I've been using an SK Hynix SSD as my personal boot drive for a few years and it's worked great. When I decided to upgrade to an SSD from a traditional mechanical drive, I had no problem going with this 1TB Gold model from SK Hynix. It offers superior SATA performance (see benchmark screenshots), is currently very affordable, and offers the highest reliability (600 terabyte writes) with a long warranty (5 years). Nice. If only they existed in 2 or 4 TB versions.
