Review on Injen Technology X 1033RED Hydro Shield Pre Filter by Lamont Manjrekar

Got this for my Injen cold air intake. Within a month I decided to replace my car's headlights. Since I remove the bumper, I immediately checked the water protection. Out of curiosity, I decided to test the water. I sprayed it with a spray, not wet but squeezed with water a couple of times. fog only. The water flowed as if there were no barrier. I was so disappointed in this product. I don't know if the coating has an expiration date and had to be recoated with a water repellent. I drove through heavy rain a few days ago, and heavy rain in Houston means HARD. Unsurprisingly, it was weird on the gas. I do not recommend this product. If you have one or plan to buy one, be sure to buy a water repellent spray and apply it a few times before use.
