I have an old Hoover Rewind vacuum cleaner (model UH70820) whose brush stopped rolling even on a bare floor. The old belt stretched and stopped moving. I replaced it with this new belt. At first I thought the new one wouldn't fit because it's a lot smaller than the old one. I compared the numbers stamped on the new and old belts and they matched. Putting on a new belt wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. After assembling the vacuum, I turned it on and damn that roller brush worked! Looking at the beautiful brush strokes on the carpet makes me think that the old belt has been decaying for quite some time because it hasn't looked this good in a long time.
