I had a Boos board that broke after only a few months despite constant oiling. To put it bluntly, I don't use any other expensive boards anymore so I got this one. I wish I had bought this all along, it has had no signs of wear (other than the expected cuts) for almost a year. Can be washed with soap and water without tearing unless you dry it immediately and then oil it. If you are looking for a good cutting board and are considering between this and a Boos board. Just understand: the Boos board is too demanding for a home cook to maintain. The focus of your efforts should be on the food, not the cutting board like a nice piece of silver.
