Good coverage, take your time to install

The leather on the steering wheel of my 2009 Mazda 3 cracked and fell apart. This cover seemed like a wise decision. It comes with everything you need to install it, although the instructions are simple. Installation takes time. Take an hour to perfectly place the sleeve, thread the pieces and figure out the sewing technique. Give yourself an hour or two to sew. After a few months of use I am very happy with the end result. The leather feels good in the hand and the thickness of the handlebars is just right. My wheel doesn't look like it was factory installed because it isn't, but it looks pretty good. A word of advice: I didn't use double-sided tape on the back of the six o'clock pillar. It definitely curves at this point, and now I have a learned piece to cover that inner curve. A minor annoyance that I don't want to fix.
