I bought these many years ago at a very reasonable price so I can't comment on value for money. They are sturdy and I haven't seen any rust as many complain. Maybe because I kept the knives myself on my magnetic knife bar for years? The display is attractive, but as at least one review I've read has pointed out, you can't store it under a cabinet unless you want to pull it out every time you take out (or knock over) a knife want. I recently moved in without a knife strip and was reminded of why I actually kept knives out of the display case: the incessant rumble! With a full set on the counter, any vibration - walking, fridge motor, dishwasher, etc. - was enough to rattle the knives in their glass cage. Since I've been here, there have been a few occasions where I've put everything to the side just to calm down a bit. I will keep the knives and I want to stick with the set for the beauty. But I put on another knife strip!
