These are NOT bright Christmas lights. They are the perfect accent light. The bulbs are made of plastic so they don't break. Put in light strands for an unusual look. Separate bulbs so no cords or distance restrictions. A hanger and a clip are already attached. Solar charging even with indirect (also shaded) light. Once the switch is on, they automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn. We tested them on our camper tent for decoration and subtle lighting. Very satisfied. They would also be great hanging from small trees in our dark garden at Christmas, they are easy to hang without damaging the trees with wires. WARNING - Be sure to charge them in the sun BEFORE you start whining that they don't work! Of the dozen, 8 came preinstalled and 4 didn't. A few hours in the sun and everything worked.
