This pack of scissors is so well priced I wasn't expecting more than regular scissors BUT I couldn't be happier with what I got! They are very high quality in the hand and also have a good selection of colors. But the most important thing is the cut quality. I chose 1 pair for the kitchen, 1 pair for various needs and gave 1 to my teenage son. When using 1 pair on paper and for general cutting needs they cut quickly and effortlessly. Then, using a kitchen steamer, I tried them for the first time on raw bacon (something I've always found very difficult to cut) and the results amazed me. I cut RAW BACON fast, clean and easy! They have tarnished a bit over the many months of use, but that's to be expected with any blade. I haven't tried sharpening the blades although I think it will work. Any of my future needs for medium to large sized scissors will be completely satisfied by buying the same set again!
