Although this jacket has a mesh lining, it is only on the front near the zipper. The rest of the interior is open to interior trim that looks more like a sauna than anything else. The inside of the sleeves stick to my arms at the first sign of sweating, and that's when I'm wearing the jacket in cold temperatures (in the 40 to 50 degree Fahrenheit range). The jacket uses Velcro straps to secure the rain hood and uses the same means to attach an inner pocket to store the jacket on you. I got tired of using velcro as the seams around the hood already have some tension in the stitches that hold them in place. This is the second jacket I've ordered that has the hood attached with velcro - I sent the first back as the velcro had already come completely undone.
