These mittens have become my snow removal work gloves. They are INCREDIBLY warm and stay that way the whole time I'm outside. I prefer mittens when shoveling, shoveling roofs and blowing snow because I can hold onto everything without flinching. They have extra fabric where you can store things so they don't shift. They stay warm and dry all the time I'm outside, even when it's snowing or the snow is blowing your way. The elastic band around the wrist prevents snow from getting in and keeps your hands warm. I love her incredibly soft interior. This is truly the softest material I've ever tried in gloves or mittens. Although they may look a little oversized for class, they fit well. I also really enjoy using them when I go snowmobiling. Personally I don't ski but I think they will be great for skiing. These are the best outdoor winter mittens I've ever owned. You will not be disappointed.
