Review on πŸ”§ EEZTire-TPMS4: Premium Real-Time Tire Pressure Monitoring System with 4 Anti-Theft Sensors and 3-Year Warranty by Michael Herrera

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very well working system that is easy to install and gets the job done perfectly. (A few tips in this review too)

As new motorhome owners we were very concerned about tire pressure and punctures. After some research we found this to be the best deal and has been proven in the RV world to do what it says on the tin when reporting tire pressure and temperature. The entire kit was packaged in an attractive box with just the right amount of sensors, including a mounting bracket and power supply. Cable. Setup was easy, but be sure to read the instructions! (I know a difficult task) I installed it on my desk after numbering the sensors. 6 sensors were installed on my 40ft RV and 4 on the tractor. I did not use the anti-theft case and tools. I used Permatex 81343 Anti-Seize (available from Revain) before attaching the sensors to the valve stems to prevent corrosion. The valve stems on my RV are metal because it is recommended to use them. Pressure and temperature were reported a few minutes after the tire was fitted, so it was pretty quick. The car I was towing also reported it soon after. can also be seen to make sure we pay attention. During our last 200 mile trip we had a good idea of the job. Of course, the pressure and temperature in all tires increased. Surprisingly, the right tire of our towed vehicle was the hottest of all 10 tires. After some fiddling, we find that the RV's exhaust is in front of this tire. We have a diesel linkage and the exhaust is very hot. The tire didn't actually overheat, but was about 10-12 degrees hotter than the other tires on the towed vehicle. On the day of our return, I decided to get all the tires up to pressure. Some of them were a little upset. Remember that you can easily unscrew the metal valve stem and sensor when you remove them, so keep an eye on that. I purposely left a sensor to test the no air pressure scenario. The monitor beeped loudly and the red light was on, so it was a good test of confidence in the system. The total length of the RV, hitch and towed vehicle is approximately 53 feet, the monitor reported the tires of the towed vehicle. all the time, so no problem. As batteries age, they may or may not drop out, time will tell. Conclusion: Easy to install, reliable reporting, great view on the monitor and good for peace of mind. * I have not received any advertising from the seller and am in no way affiliated with the seller or the manufacturer.
