This product uses a sticky gel instead of a suction cup. It sticks well once you apply it to the windshield. But when the temperature in the car exceeds around 100 degrees (typical in summer), it melts, gets onto the windshield and dashboard, and the product has to be disposed of. Molten slime cannot be removed by standard means - acetone must be used to remove it.
