Nice but narrow at the ankle

I love these boots they are beautiful. However, the ankle needs to be a bit wider as it will not stay locked in if the child has a thicker ankle and foot and my daughter is not tall. I also ordered black, brown and navy, navy blue looks black. I compared dark blue to black and they look the same. I don't think I will order them again due to the clasp and color issue.
