They glow and you have both high and low
I like that they fit right. There is no need to add anything else to make them work. Plug them in and turn on the headlights. They are very bright at night. I am sitting in a Dodge Ram 2500 03 and see a hole in the road like new cars. I've had cars tell me the high beams should be lower. But when I set them to the maximum they stopped blinking for me.
