I make my kids wear "bright" neon swim trunks when we go to the beach or other water features. Facilitates looking after 4 toddlers from shore as one adult. Each kid has an assigned color and we just get a new shirt of the same color every year. The price is right and the quality is very good, if the kids hadn't grown so much, these shirts would have lasted more than a season. We go to the beach almost every day, we are actively engaged in snorkeling and boating. My sons also wore them almost every day when they traveled around Thailand under their life jackets (which I brought home) on those long boats, who like to tip over slightly to avoid chafing. Due to the heavy use, the shirts have very little pilling. Loose enough to be easy to slip on and off and dry very quickly for travel. children love them.
