This is a great product that fits perfectly. It unfolds about 20 inches and can stretch to almost 4 feet, but that stretches it a lot. The spool itself is stiff and I mean it takes a burst of power to stretch it and is very resilient. We use it for an outlet (with USB ports) that we have under our kitchen island so we can charge our phones and when the charger is not in use it "twists" and hangs down but doesn't touch the Floor. The coil allows it to sit comfortably on the counter, but if you stretch it out to show someone something on your phone, you might have to unplug it as the coil will either unplug it or turn your phone back and on the ground falls . . . I would suggest breaking it up a bit and just stretching it to the label so it gives a bit and isn't as strong.
