There was a piece of material that caused some discomfort for about the first three days of use. Now I don't notice. Also, these are the best work shoes I've ever had. I wore a pair of Dockers before I bought them. The core of the Dockers outsole began to corrode with use. This shoe is confident, comfortable and good looking. The low price made me a little tired at first, but that has nothing to do with the quality of these shoes. They're lightweight, keep my feet warm in the Oregon winter, and are easy to slip on in the early morning. hrs. I'm hoping I won't need another pair for a while, but when the day comes I already know what I'm getting in return.
