If shoe sizes were the same for all brands I would most likely wear a 9E even though I measure 9.5 on this high tech step shoe. Also, the width of the "E" is almost impossible to find. That being said, I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 medium (D I think) depending on the shoe brand and style. Based on some reviews I understand they are a little big. So I ordered 9. The length is perfect with plenty of room in the toe box. When I first tried them on they were a little tight - in width - but after only a few days of wearing them they are incredibly comfortable and look cool (IMHO). I can't tell you how long they will last, but in the meantime I'll enjoy them.
