The box was well packed but the chair is heavy so after a little abuse the box was punctured by the base of the chair. The chair was undamaged as it was well wrapped in bubble wrap. Everything needed for assembly was included in the plastic and cardboard packaging, including a hex wrench that went with all the small parts. Assembly was easy. I enlisted the help of my girlfriend and we did it in less than 30 minutes. The way the arms connect to the back is a bit wobbly as the screws go in at a slight angle. We found it easiest for one person to stabilize their back on their side while another used the included Allen wrench to connect the levers. The entire base snaps into place without screwing anything in, which made me suspicious at first, but I've never assembled an office chair before. It all fitted together perfectly and made a very solid impression. Sat on the chair for about 3-4 hours right after assembly as I had some papers to write. We felt incredibly comfortable, better than the ones we have at work. There was no tilt to either side, I think the reviewers who found the chair had to reconsider how the armrests connect to the seat. The screws holding everything would have been easy to connect at the corners, it took us a few tries and efforts to get everything tight with no wobble. The lumbar support is very easy to adjust and the chair reclines gently and securely. Overall I am very satisfied with the chair and can only recommend it. I play computer games very often and for a long time and also do most of my work and study at my desk, so I will be using this chair a lot. I'm sure this chair will become my favorite chair in my home. I've even preferred this chair to my existing upholstered chair a few times to play on the PS4.
