I have a JRT so of course he likes to bark at everything! Thinks he's pretty tough. I also had stun collars from two other brands. I have tried remote vibrating/shock collars. Bought two because I lost the remote control. Then I bought a collar from Cabellas thinking it would be the best. no So that was my last. It has no remote control, it has a vibration setting with an adjustable vibration level indicated in blue light. Shock mode shows red light and also has different intensity levels. As far as I know, no matter what level you set it at, the stun collar will start and the more persistent the dog makes noise, the higher the intensity of the shock or vibration. Depending on the set mode. This collar is easy to use and works with people. My dog only barks once or twice and that's it! My neighbors thank me. I can't comment on the battery life, if only to use it when he goes outside to potty and play. It is better to wear it separately and not with other collars. It is adjustable and easy to put on and take off. My dog doesn't mind wearing it, he actually doesn't care because he knows that if I put it on him he can go outside. Hope this review helps!
