Personally I have never used styrofoam clay but I have seen many videos of people using other brands and I think it leaves a lot to be desired. I'm not sure if I just got a bad batch but it was incredibly difficult to work with and it was pretty dry to begin with which made it difficult to use. What I could pull off a bit was lumpy and frustrating, INCREDIBLY fragile and kinda. just torn and crumbled. The packaging was also CRAZY difficult to open. It took 40 minutes to remove the cover and I had to do it by opening it up a bit with a flat head screwdriver and then it wouldn't close. And then the inner packaging would not close. Just not me. One star because I made some vines for my props to make it work. OK. I was hoping to use it more for a TON cosplay project but. It doesn't look like it now
