Review on 🍽️ Corelle Livingware 4 Inch Divided Winter: Versatile and Functional Tableware for Easy Dining by Joe Patterson

Stylish and practical

Ten years after our last child left home, we're still eating from shared plastic plates! I decided it was time to move on but hated the thought of liquids dripping and mixing with other foods etc. I was surprised to find this Corelle divided plate and delighted as I was already saving some of the other parts . over the years to replace the plastic items left over from raising children. First, it's the perfect next step after plastic utensils for homes with children willing to learn how to use 'real' utensils. Everyone knows that Corelle is stronger than ordinary glass or china. Second, for those of us who are simply addicted to sharing food, this is the perfect "grown-up" plate. The diameter of the plate is perfect BECAUSE the only downside of this product is that it is not deep enough. A smaller plate would be useless for anyone but a child. Sections cannot accommodate a regular portion OR prevent liquid from spilling into particularly succulent foods. Men probably need to refill their plates two or three times to eat a normal amount, especially if they work hard. While portion control is good for those who need/want it, ladies can feel a bit gluttonous having to step back a few seconds at every meal! This is an adaptive situation as we have learned to simply put less food on the plate but the second helping is needed too soon after we've sat down at the table and it's bound to be cold. I would never use these plates when I have guests, even my family members forcing them to go out hunting for food in no time. Korel has a unique ability to "dress up". Plain white Corelle plates on a pretty tablecloth or alongside pretty linen napkins with coasters and/or colored glasses make for an inviting everyday table. Unfortunately these plates are never used for such occasions until they are made deeper. Overall the price is a bit steep for plates that are only ever categorized as food, but we're still glad there's such an attractive alternative to a plastic plate divider! Who knows, maybe we'll get tired of jumping and losing weight for the second and third helpings!
