Review on 🚗 Metra 1984-7501 Installation Multi-Kit: Ideal for Sub-Dash Mount Radios in Mazda Vehicles 1984-1997 by Carlos Chan

I've installed CD players in cars before, I'm by no means a pro but I have more than enough tools and skills to tackle this project. The instructions are pretty clear on what is needed to install the kit in the Miata and what is needed for different types of CD players. What is not clear is that all that needs to be cut off the kit is to install it and it NEEDS test fittings to install properly. Cutting should be done with a dremel or similar cutting tool as a utility knife is very difficult and likely to break parts. would find it "unacceptable" to modify the bottom corners of the kit and dash to allow for proper installation. Of course it will close up when the dash is inserted, but the bottom corners of the kit will need to be rounded to match the contour of the dash and avoid this clipping.
