So far so good for the money
Just a few hundred miles in my Ford 4.9L (300ci) 6 cyl. hazards. but so far it's been great. The machined areas where the cap holders grip could be better but they hold the cap normally. No problems putting it on the oil pump shaft or on the block, side covers on the engine removed as normal. Time will tell as to the durability of the module and pickup coil, but all looks good and it's an inexpensive solution if something goes wrong. The mechanical feed added 15 degrees and the vacuum feed added another 17 degrees. I've set the base time to 7 BTDC and I'm not getting a ping.
